Here's one thing

It turns out that I got George and Pattie's wedding date wrong!
It was in 1966, not 1964 (they divorced in 1977.)
Here's Chapter Two of my story.
Enjoy!

THE NONSENSE PLACE

CHAPTER TWO

Why? Why did I have to die in that dumb hurricane? As I am feeling angry all over, a warm hand touches my shoulder.  I was startled.  But there was nothing to be afraid of.  Was there? It was a girl with straight golden hair with streaks of chocolate brown, with emerald green eyes and a kind and happy smile.  "Hello?" I say nervously.  "You must be Pattie Dennis," she says softly.  "Welcome." I look around.  There is a river that instead of rocks at the bottom, there are any kind of jewels you could wish for.  There is a sky that is a mix of sky blue and turquoise.  There is a lavender meadow with flowers that smell like my dad's bacon.  A willow tree that smells like roses.  And an apple tree with apples that smell like apples but taste like sausage.  It is actually very good.  "What is your name?" I ask the girl.  "That I can't tell you." "Why not?" I demanded.  "I just can't." She says.
"Well, I actually don't want to know anyway," I snapped.  Then I just walk away without looking behind once.  I looked down at Dylan, with her long pumpkin orange locks covering her chubby tear stained cheeks and deep hazel eyes.  I am furious.  I am furious because I died on my birthday, I wasn't even a TEENAGER yet, my parents hearts are broken, and Dylan is getting more teased and bullied than ever becasue of her hair and I'm not there to stick up for her.  I go up to the golden haired girl and smack her right across the face.  She runs away after that.
I start to feel bad.  Very bad.  I'm going to earth.  I sneak across the bridge to The Nonsense Place, which I have decided to call it.  I go to where I used to go to school, where the most popular girl in the school, Layla, bullies Dylan.  But it turns out not just because of Dylan's hair she is being teased, it's her name.  Layla calls Dylan a boy.  I see Dylan's face get the color of fire.  I do, too.  I can feel it.  If I were alive, I would go up to Layla and smack her.
Layla was always pretty.  She had curly, silky, and shiny black hair, caramel skin, turquoise eyes, and very white teeth.  The only problem was Layla's attitude.  She was always mean to the kids who got straight A's, and Dylan and I were one of those kids, I guess that she couldn't stand just getting almost all A's and one B.
Layla was always a problem.  She was always bragging that she was named after an Eric Clapton song, which was true.

STORY TIME!!!!!

Even though this is a music blog, I'd like to share a story I want to share.
Enjoy!

THE NONSENSE PLACE

CHAPTER ONE

All year, I had been begging my parents to take me to the beach for my birthday.  My name is Pattie.  Pattie Anne Maureen Dennis.  I know, it sounds like a bunch of names together in one name.  Why did that dumb Hurricane have to come? My day started out fine.  Absolutley fine.  My father was making Chocolate-Chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast, my favorite breakfast.  After breakfast, we were going to go down to the beach and play in the ocean, take a boat ride, sun bathe, and collect seashells.
After that, I would get to choose where I wanted to go eat and go to the boardwalk and ride the rides and get ice-cream cones.  THAT would be the best birthday ever, but it was also very special.  I was turning 13.  I was going to become a REAL TEENAGER.  And I was so excited.  But the dumb weather woman interuppted our plans.  She was pale with curly red hair and blue eyes and freckles that went across her face.  She said that there was a big storm coming, and evacuate if possible.  So we had to leave that day when we had just got there yesterday.
I was scared; but angry.  Why did this stupid hurricane have to come on MY special day?  We were close to the innerstate when my lights went out.  My mother was driving down the road, and suddenly a palm tree hit our car, and I was the only one not to survive.  Dead at 12 years old.  On your birthday.  It's the worst thing that could happen.  Right now, I'm looking at my mother and father, with me in my casket with curly mud brown hair turning gray, my amber eyes closed, my eyebrows gone, and a big red bump where I got hit.  My mother and father, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandmas and grandpas, close friends, and former teachers are there and crying.  I wish this never happened.  My mother has a tear that drips down her cheek, and lands onto my hand.  My best friend, Dylan, won't leave my grave.
I'm so sad that her best and only friend, me, is gone.  Dylan's father has to carry her on his back to take her home, with Dylan kicking and screaming.  I wish this never happened.  I truley do.

That's the end of chapter one.  Hopefully by tomorrow, I will have more Beatles' stuff and chapter two to the story!

All you need is Love

This is another one of my Beatles' favorites, All you need is Love.
This is when they were starting to become hippies (you notice that there are a lot of hippies around them while they are singing this.)
Also, this is when TV turned into COLOR!!!!
I Feel Fine is good too.
Thanks for looking at this post!!!

FACTS!!!

Okay, I know I've given you a lot of facts about The Beatles lately, but here is some MORE!
1.  The Beatles at first had five members of the band, with Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best.  Pete Best was their drummer at first, and Stuart Sutcliffe was a guitar player.
2.  At first The Beatles played at a night club that they called The Cavern.
3.  All of the members were born during some time of World War II.
4.  When The Beatles split up, Ringo got an acting career in Hollywood.
5.  Barbara Bach, now Ringo's wife, was an American actress and still is.
6.  The song "Hey Jude" was originally called "Hey Jools."  Paul McCartney wrote it because John and Cynthia were getting a divorce, and they had a son named Julian who was very young.
That's all the facts for right now!
Thanks!

The Rolling Stones
Little Richard

Elvis Presley
If you agree, comment.  I'll give you some examples of AWESOME rock songs.
(I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION- THE ROLLING STONES
REVOLUTION- THE BEATLES
Of course, I already have Revolution posted on here.  But here's (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.

Wanna know some cool facts?

Well, you know when The Beatles performed at Shea Stadium in NYC in 1965? So, here's some cool facts you might want to know!
1. Paul McCartney's first wife, Linda, was there (she died of breast cancer.)
2. Ringo's second wife, Barbara, was there with her little sister.  Her sister was wearing a wig, and Barbara was a Rolling Stones fan.
Pretty cool? If your wondering were I got all this information, I have (or borrowing) a big Beatles Anthology book from 1960-1970.  It's AWESOME.
To add to the first fact, Linda was a real music fan, so because of all the screaming she could barely hear the music.
The reason why The Beatles last concert was at Candlestick Park in San Fransico in 1966 was because girls were screaming so loud they couldn't even hear themselves playing their instruments or singing.  So that's the reason they stopped touring.
George Harrison's first wife, Pattie Boyd, was a school girl in the movie "A Hard Day's Night", and that's where they first met each other in their lifetime.  They married in late 1964.  But when they met, George asked Pattie out but she refused because she was dating someone else at the time.  I don't know if I have told you this yet, but how John Lennon died was because he was assasinated in December 1980.  George died  of Lung Cancer.  I wish The Beatles never split up in the first place.  Here's something about John first wife, Cynthia.  Cynthia has been married like, FOUR times all ready.  The song, "A Hard Day's Night," at Shea Stadium.

Help!

I'm sorry to say this, but I can't find much scenes from The Beatles movie Help! Sorry about that.  But I do need help finding Help! scenes.  Get it? Okay, enough with the word AND movie help.  I'm sad that  both Beatle John and George are dead.  Paul turned 71 on June 18th! So happy 71st, Paul! I think Ringo is 73 (if I haven't said it before, Ringo's real name is Richard Starkey).  I wanted to go to Abbey on the Road really badly in Louisville a few weeks ago, and Paul McCartney was there, and I couldn't go, so that was disappointing.  Yellow Submarine is also a movie and a song.  I really like the song, but I haven't seen the movie (I couldn't find a good video, so I chose the lyrics).  Yellow Submarine is actually an animated movie.
It makes me so sad that The Beatles decided to split up.  I hate it, because they made such great music together, and became the best recording artists of all time! Here's a good song I mentioned in an earlier post, Ticket to Ride, from the movie Help!
 Hope you like it!

Rock n' roll music

Did you know that the Beatles also played some songs from 50's Rock n' Roll music? Here's one, Rock n' Roll Music, previously made by Chuck Berry.  In my opinion, nobody can sing better than John Lennon.  Here's another good song, Baby's in Black.  Here's a great dance song, Twist and Shout.

That's all for now! Bye!

Here's another Beatle fan I know

Another big Beatle fan that I know is Jason Smith.  He's my Poppy's best friend.  I think his favorite Beatles song is Honey Pie from The White Album.  You know how much I love A Hard Day's Night? Here's Part 1 from the movie.
Here's a good song, Tell Me Why.
I'm sorry if it goes to another song... but that one is good, too.  She Loves You is great. Bye!

Funny scenes from "A Hard Day's Night"

I love A Hard Day's Night.  Here's a funny scene I really like from the movie, "Hey Mister, Can we have our ball back?"

I love this change room scene.  John, Paul, George, and Ringo are so funny.  I love the big wig Ringo was wearing.  LOL.  Aren't they hilarious? In the ball scene, George looks so funny when he's mad.  I hope you like them!
Bye!

Beatlemania is never going to end

I think it is true: Beatlemania is never going to end.  Like on the Ed Sullivan Show, with all the screaming fans when the Beatles were on stage.  They were actually on the Ed Sullivan Show twice, I think.  The first one was in New York City, the second was in Miami Beach.
I love this song, too.  This is the one when they were in Miami Beach.  This one is a song from the movie Magical Mystery Tour.  This is the one with the strange title and video: I am the Walrus.
Pretty weird, huh? But it is a great song.
See ya,

Yesterday

Yesterday, I was at  writing camp having a good time.  But now it's over, and I'm sad.   But I have been having a great day.  Paul McCartney wrote a song called Yesterday.  It is the most downloaded song of all time.  Here is singing it (it's above this.) Here's a good song, I Want to Hold Your Hand.
I Should Have Known Better is a good one, too (this video is also a scene from A Hard Days Night.)
Here's one more: Let It Be.
I LOVE this song.  I really hope you enjoy it.
See ya!

How I was introduced to the Beatles

So, your probably wondering how I was introduced to the Beatles.  Well, I think it was when I was in Kindergarten or First Grade.  My step-father (I call him Poppy, but his real name is Tim) had a Beatles album, and he played a song for me.  It was one of the songs from the not-so-successfull movie Magical Mystery Tour.  It has a strange title: I am the Walrus.  I've seen the music video to that song, and it is a bit strange, but it is a great a song.  You know how I made a six word quote on Quozio? Well, it turned out to have SEVEN letters instead of SIX.  So here is my new one:
Looks pretty good, huh? I love Quozio (just don't mess up on six word quotes and put seven words instead).  If you want to listen to awesome Beatles albums, listen to Rubber Soul or Revolver.  A great song on Rubber Soul is Michelle.  A great song on Revolver is Eleanor Rigby.
Here's another good song from Rubber Soul, Drive My Car.
I have both of these albums at my house.  There all I'll usually listen to.  I love them.  There so awesome.
Here's another good one, Norwegian Wood.  This was their first song with a sitar in it.  If you don't know what a sitar is, it's this instrument similar to a guitar but taller.  It is used alot in India.  Michelle is also a good song (it has French in it).
I am so obsessed with the Beatles.  I love every single song by them.  My favorite is Help!, which was made in 1965.  I have to at least listen to them every single day.  I just love rock music.  My favorite Beatle is probably Paul.  I like him because he was a great song writer, he loved to sing, and he was a great singer and still is.  I forgot to add that George Harrison was the one who was playing sitar in Norwegian Wood.  I still have Hey Jude stuck in my head.
"Hey Jude... don't make it bad... take a sad song and make it better..."  Help! too. "Help! I need somebody... Help! Not just anybody..."  I love Ticket to Ride, too.
"Can't Buy Me Love" is awesome.
Thanks for reading!

Wordle: wordle

More things I want to add

This is one of my favorite Beatles songs too, Revolution.  Here is the YouTube video of them singing Revolution.
Here's another good one, Hello Goodbye.
Please Please Me is another one of my favorites.  Here is a funny George Harrison scene from A Hard Days Night.
LOL.  Isn't it so funny? Here is another Beatle favorite of mine.
Thanks for looking (again!)

Six word memoir

I know, this may be getting off the Beatles and music topic, but I have to do this for my writing camp.
Here is one of my six word memoirs:
"Art is one of my favorite classes."
Pretty cool, huh? If you want to make your own quote, go to www.Quozio.com.

Awesome Abbey Road album picture.  It makes me sad, but this was the last album they ever made with each other.
I love this quote by John Lennon.  Did you know the Beatles were also in some movies, too? Here's a list of the movies and trailers that they were in:
A Hard Days Night
Help!
Magical Mystery Tour (it wasn't a big success, though.)
Yellow Submarine
A Hard Days Night trailer:
Help! trailer:

Their also performing the song Help! at Shea Stadium:Thanks for reading this post!

First Post

The Beatles are my favorite band.  They are the greatest band that ever lived.  John, Paul, George, and Ringo made up a great band.  I've seen their movie A Hard Days Night.  I loved it.  It was very good.  I love Rubber Soul.  It's my favorite album.  Here is a picture of them (in 1968):
Here is a picture of them much earlier:
